Wow! First one! Anyways, I'd like to say that this week has been a rough one. A few days ago, we had no class so it was sort of a free day; not really. I had some other homework to attend to. Currently, I read today's lesson on cause and effect. Having some background information, I was able to understand and comprehend a little. Just waiting on my moodle reply. I also got began on my midterm self-reflection. We had an extension date on it due to the fact not everyone started. So much pressure was relieved! Hopefully next week, we can work as a class to get this assignment once again completed. :)
The book practically laid out the whole meaning of cause and effect. It may seem simple but the meaning is complex. Everyone learns it and does it everyday. I started on my self-reflection essay and I realized things that I have not thought about which is interesting. Hopefully we do great on the essay. I hope that we all end this week with success.
So much to do, but it can be done. The week that had just passed had so many moving parts. From college, army, training, band, and the new class its been hectic. See exemplification does help. Just like Jose and Lei , I to am relieved the due date was moved but still more to do.
I feel you Jeff...I've lost out on two days of not being able to do anything because I got really sick and now it's crunch time and yes there is so much to do and only we can make it happen to get it done. Just stay focus on the importance of it all and things will fall into place :)
On the Monday learning about; "writing about doing" the book gave a great lesson on this chapter. Learning about directive and informative parts of an essay really explained what the reader ought to do and what the reader should understand. Moving forward in the week, our Professors gave us two days off. These days off allowed our class some time to catch up on our homework. Now, writing about cause and effect is happening write now. While I read Professor Rivera's question for the blog, my reaction is to respond so that the effect will be on my grade:)
Don't forget to check your email and reply back to her. Thanks goodness for the weekend...I so need the extra days to get caught up. See you on Monday.
I've been under the weather :( my second class for session C started Monday and just knowing that the Mid term reflection has been pushed back was so much of a relief. I missed out on class Thursday so just knowing that I missed out on the test makes me feel like Im behind and I really don't like that, I like to stay on top of things not fall behind. The book does not short change us at all, meaning it gives enough to understand the chapter. I really miss our in class sessions. Have a great weekend everyone. Just FYI...I feel so much better from the last two days...still weak but there's so much to get done and all that rest and hydration paid off.
Honestly, online classes just make me bored. I miss all my classmates and teacher. Last tuesday I thought we would be able to see each other again. But professor Palomo was sick. Our online class that we had today made me think about the cause and effect, if it happened on our daily basis and how it would affect our health. I haven't started on our self-reflection paper, but I have been thinking about it and the things that would help support the body of my paper. Its just the introduction that I have a problem beginning, which I find ironic.
I was surprised how our Midterm Essay is postponed to next week. This week was rough for me--literally up and downs. Not to mention my lack of sleep from the past few days! I feel thankful for our professor, and perhaps even God about this. Aside from my immature excuses of being lazy, learning the use of cause and effect seemed very basic and fundamental, yet interesting. When I gave a thought about it, both the cause and effect exist throughout our daily basis.
Sorry for the late post, I forgot to prove that "I'm not a robot" and exited the browser.

Awesome Lei thinking positive ;]
DeleteI like how you can see the cause and effect relationship simple but also having a complex mean. This is true, in all parts. :) Nice.
