Today was the day that we met Dr. Rivera! She was very nice! Unfortunately I came about 5 minutes late so I didn't get to see Prof. Palomo before she left the room. We did though, took a class photo which I took by myself. She said that we were going to be cropped in so it was fine. For today's activities, we did the chapter on definitions. It was fun because the class already knew much about this topic. We also had a raffle at the end of class for Dr. Rivera's novelties that she had brought home. All in all, it was a great day at class due to the fact that we finally met our teacher that we so had long awaited for. :)
Jose is the bomb :) always beating everyone to the punch. It was great to meet her and the little raffle activity we did at the end was nice...incentives are always a good thing :).
Yeah buddy!!! We finally met Dr. Rivera and it was surprising because I passed her in the hallway but didn't recognize her, now I know. We took a class photo and might I add that we are a good looking bunch yet very different as you can tell through the photo. I don't remember standing next to Ed though when we took photo. I must have been sleepy. I liked the way we had class though , it was more of my type of learning. Dr. Rivera and Prof. Palomo have different styles of teaching, but I'm not gonna compare and contrast, " hey we just learned that." As for everything I thought it went great and I hope to learn more from the upcoming days.
Too funny Jeff with the photo comment. I agree with the class session we had and I totally agree with you about that's your kind of learning cause it's my way of learning too. I'm sure with the next couple of days left of class that we will learn and benefit from our in class sessions.
It was very exciting to actually meet Dr. Rivera. It was new having a different professor teaching us but it was fun and I did learn a lot. The lesson was about definition. The exercises were fun to do and I became open to new things. We also learn new words like schema which is the knowledge we had learned and remembered.
It was a pleasure to finally meet Dr. Rivera, it's always nice to put a face in person to the responses we get through email. Enjoyed the class photo. The lesson denition that we covered during class was awesome. I like how everyone got to take part in the readings and then the overall discussions we had. The way the lesson was covered in class is exactly how I love to learn from our in class sessions...Thank You Dr. Rivera. Learning is definitely an ongoing thing and you make it easier to understand the lesson itself.
True... true... basking robin style of reading is how I like to learn too, it gives me time to think then hear myself talking. P. S. At least you got the joke lol. Peace
Glad that we meet you Dr.Rivera in class. Plus the class pictures on Moodle and this blog was a big surprise. In exactly a week from today, it'll be good-bye to all of us though. Although it is just the class session is going to end, I believe we may be busy with college or business work and be difficult to each other everyday like we had in this class. But they were all good experience, and I'm glad I chose this class for my summer session.
I came late, but the best part of the day was meeting Dr. Rivera. It was refreshing to meet her face to face instead of an email.HAFA ADAI DR. RIVERA:)The activity we had in class fun, it allowed me to become more open with my class. Reading aloud also was a great confidence boost.
